Ken Wong, Senior Public Affairs Advisor
Prior to his work with Shadwell GP, Ken had worked with Triomphant Communications as a senior public affairs advisor since 2012. Ken has nearly 30 years of experience in communications and public affairs advising multinational companies and government leaders on multicultural and Asian American communications.
In addition to his multicultural expertise, Ken has been advising the U.S. Army on grassroots communications issues for more than a decade. In April 2017, Ken was appointed civilian aide to the secretary army (CASA). As a CASA, Ken served as a liaison between the Office of the Secretary of the Army and the American public and support the General Officers of the Army. His insights have helped build key relations with international government entities and leading businesses globally.
Ken also has held numerous leadership and executive positions. He has provided strategic counsel advising on economic strategies and community development to President George W. Bush’s Advisory Commission for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders; has advised many U.S. based companies interested in entering the China market with goods and/or services; and, at the 2008 National U.S. Hong Kong Business Association (NUSHKBA) Caucus, was unanimously elected to the national presidency of this organization before taking over the responsibilities as Chairman of the Board in 2010. Ken also serves on the Executive Board of the Hong Kong Business Association Worldwide Federation.
Ken frequently speaks at and leads conferences in the United States and abroad. A Pennsylvania State University graduate, Ken has a bachelor’s degree in political science and sociology.
