Marlen Kruzhkov, General Counsel

Marlen's sophisticated advice has made an impact on commercial litigation matters including disputes related to mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, financing transactions, venture capital and private equity investments, restructurings, real estate, fraud, and employee relations. Marlen has a strong national and international client base; he has counselled corporate and high-profile clients on complex litigation throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia.

Fluent in Russian, Marlen is one of the foremost attorneys in the United States advising international clients regarding their legal needs. His clientele includes high net-worth individuals and multinational companies around the world.

Marlen has practiced at prominent international law firms, including Latham & Watkins and Schulte, Roth & Zabel, where he acted on matters for a range of blue-chip clients, including DIRECTV, Nintendo, and Fortune 500 healthcare companies.

Marlen is a former co-chairman of the Russian Leadership Division of the United Jewish Appeal (UJA). He has served on the boards of directors of the Russian American Jewish Experience (RAJE), the Jewish Council for Community Relations (JCRC), and The Jewish Week newspaper. He is the president, founder, and member of the board of directors and former chairman of the Russian Speaking Business Attorneys Network.  Marlen is the first ever Russian speaking judge appointed to the Supreme Tribunal of the World Zionist Congress.
